Chapter4 Dream of Reality

“Huh, wha?” I said as I woke up. Then I remembered everything. I wanted to believe it all, but after the incident with me believing in my dreams in public, or rather them getting out, I just couldn’t. I checked the clock on the wall. 4:03am. I got out of my sleeping bag to go to my mirror on my dresser while avoiding the sleeping kids on the floor, just to check if it was real, or if I still had black on me. I didn’t.

Good. Then I saw something on my hand. There was still proof that the dream was real. It was right there, on my right index finger, glistening in the moonlight. My mood ring.

I was shocked. It was real. I ran to my dream journal on my desk, Jumping over Suzy where I wrote down cool dreams I wanted to remember, then stopped myself cold. No. No way I should write this down, because Kristen, Arriana, Zoë, and Suzy and Shelby especially, would get into my diaries. Besides, if I could remember every detail, why should I write it down? I asked myself.

I went back to my spot, and noticed something different. My red pink and white leopard spotted, purple and pink fuzzy blankets were not alone on my bag. There were four extra ones on it that weren’t mine. Then I got a crazy idea. I gathered a few items I would like to take with me to that dream world. I was touching those blankets when I came here. Same with my mood ring, and they came with me so maybe I could do the same with a Sansa mp3, Bob alarm clock, my favorite blanket, a small Husky LED flashlight, Russ, Jacky, Perssilleana, Raymon, and Cowboy, all of which were members of my stuffed animal family, all stuffed in a pink army-pattered backpack. I also put on my watch. Like I said, crazy, but I just wanted to be sure. Besides, I was known for my stupid ideas now.

Well, now that I had everything in my backpack, all I had to do now as have a snack and use the bathroom and I could be on my way back to that other world.

I strolled to the kitchen and snuck myself a yogurt cup and small glass of 7-Up. I ate my snack quickly, then cleaned up the mess and went to my bathroom. When I was done I went back to my room and watched the stars for a good 30 minutes before I thought I heard a door open. I snapped my head around, expecting to see my mom or dad or Jaxin at the door, but it was just my imagination, because nobody was there. Or maybe Sonic had come in Tails’ house and I heard it.

Oh no! Jaxin was in my dream! Maybe she hasn’t come out! Scared, I silently ran to my brother Sheldons’ room, but she wasn’t there. “WHAAA-HOOOO!” My brothers Tri-Bot screamed. I stared at it for a second.

“Oh shut up!” I whispered to it. No response. Then I checked my mom and dad’s room. Sweet relief. She was in her little yellow bed in the corner, sound asleep. She must still be in the dream world. Wrong. Apparently she heard me come in and looked at me. Then she got up and followed me to my room, where we lay in bed awake for 45 minutes before I got the feeling of spinning sideways. I quickly ran to my spot in the game room and I quickly wrapped Tails’ blankets around me to give them back and grabbed my backpack and fell asleep.
